The KVS Regional Office, Jabalpur, came into existence in July 1993. At present, there are 59 Kendriya Vidyalayas in this region, 03 of which operate in two shifts. All 59 Kendriya Vidyalayas are located in the state of Madhya Pradesh; of these, 38 fall under the Civil sector, 09 under the Project sector, and 12 under the Defence sector.
